KNOW US

Lighten Up Africa Foundation (LUAF) is a Christian not-for-profit organization that is focused particularly on orphans, widows and needy families. LUAFs end-game is to alleviate poverty in these sects of people, by training, teaching and preparing them to be independent, have good focus and to give them a future. LUAF extends its support to other villages/ communities outside of the capital with education, clothing, foodstuffs, Christian literature amongst others. LUAF was established in 2015 but formally registered as an NGO in August 2020.

Our mission is to maintain/aid charitable, educational, religious and other philanthropic activities whilst serving the public good through structured grant-making to public charities.

LUAF is committed to unlocking the potential of every individual we encounter by fighting to end childhood trauma. Ensuring children have access to quality education, equipping adults with vocational training and teaching them and bringing them to the knowledge of Christ and His love.

At LUAF we believe that in as much as it is our God-given mandate to help lift up those who are in need by helping restoring some level of hope to the hopeless and making them know they are valued and loved - helping the underprivileged also guarantees a secure nation, because any neglected population mostly turns around to become a threat to society.
